Drivts for PC
One line, and you're in.
Drivts for PC sits next to Assetto Corsa, measures as you drive and sends your driving data to the portal. You install it with one command in the terminal, no root needed.
What you need
- Linux on a 64-bit PC with a desktop: Bazzite, SteamOS in desktop mode, Fedora or Ubuntu
- Assetto Corsa with Custom Shaders Patch, Content Manager recommended
- a Drivts account (activated by hand, see Ask for access)
Windows is coming.
Install
Open a terminal as the user you play with and paste this line:
curl -fsSL https://get.drivts.com/install.sh | bashNo sudo in front. The installer puts everything in your home folder and sets Drivts for PC up to start when you log in. The Assetto Corsa app comes with it. The installer checks the signature of every version and the checksums of all downloads before it installs anything.
Then
- Open Drivts. Click "Drivts" in your app menu. It shows eight characters and a QR code.
- Pair your PC. Scan the QR code with your phone camera, or type the characters into the portal under Devices. You confirm in the portal.
- Drive. Start Assetto Corsa and drive a session. The coach talks to you.
Updates install themselves when no session is running.
Remove it again
bash ~/.local/share/drivts/current/uninstall.shThis removes Drivts for PC from this computer. Your account and your sessions in the portal stay until you delete them there.
