Terms of use
Last updated: 14 October 2026
Translation for convenience. Only the German version of these terms of use is legally binding. Read the German version
In short
- Drivts is free right now. We activate every account by hand.
- You need your own copy of Assetto Corsa and use it privately, as the game’s licence allows.
- The coach is an AI. It helps you practise, but it can be wrong. At the wheel, you decide.
- Drive in the game, not on the road. Drivts is a trainer for the simulation.
- You can stop at any time and delete your account yourself. We can change or discontinue Drivts, and we will tell you beforehand.
1Who we are
Drivts is offered by HeNoMedia, owner Henning Norden, Am Südhang 25c, 24819 Todenbüttel, Germany (“we” below). Contact: hello@drivts.com or the contact form. Drivts is a product of Kaltstart Racing, a channel of HeNoMedia.
2What these terms cover
These terms apply to everything that is part of Drivts: the website, the portal, the program on your PC (the Drivts app), the app in the game and the live channel.
What Drivts does:
- While you drive, the Drivts app reads the Assetto Corsa telemetry through the game’s interface.
- After a drift, an AI coach tells you what it came down to and gives you tasks.
- In the portal you see your sessions, your level and your history.
What happens to your data is in the privacy policy.
3Account and access
1. To use Drivts you need an account. You create it with your email address. By clicking “Ask for access” you agree to these terms, and a contract of use is formed between you and us.
2. We activate accounts by hand. You have no right to be activated. Until your account is activated you can sign in, but you cannot use the coach or the analysis.
3. You must be at least 18 years old.
4. An account belongs to one person. Do not share your sign-in. With one account you can pair up to three PCs.
5. Keep your email address, your passkeys and your authenticator app safe. If you notice that someone else is using your account, write to us straight away.
4Assetto Corsa and other games
1. Drivts is an independent product. It does not belong to Kunos Simulazioni, 505 Games or any other manufacturer (see imprint).
2. You need your own valid licence for Assetto Corsa. Where needed, this includes Custom Shaders Patch, Content Manager, tracks and cars. Their use is governed by the terms of their providers.
3. Drivts only reads through the interface the game offers for this. It does not change the game and gives you no advantage in online races.
4. Only use Drivts as the game’s licence allows. This applies in particular to public, commercial or paid events.
5The AI coach
1. The coach’s lines, tasks and reviews are generated by an AI. They are marked “AI”.
2. The coach can be wrong: wrong numbers, unsuitable tips or a task that does not fit right now. Check what it says and trust your own feel.
3. The tips are meant for the simulation. Do not carry them over to a real car without checking. Drifting on public roads is illegal and dangerous.
4. Taking breaks is up to you. If you feel dizzy or unwell while driving, stop.
6What you must not do
- Attack or overload Drivts, the portal or the interfaces, or query them automatically without our consent.
- Get around security measures, use other people’s accounts or pass on access details.
- Modify, reverse engineer or redistribute the Drivts app or its packages, unless the law expressly allows it.
- Use Drivts to infringe the rights of others.
If you break these rules, we may suspend your account. For minor breaches we write to you first.
7Your content and data
1. Your driving data belongs to you. You can download it as CSV or ZIP at any time and delete individual sessions or your whole account.
2. So that Drivts works, you allow us to store and analyse your driving data. This includes sending it to our AI provider as anonymous numbers for the coach (details in the privacy policy).
3. If guests drive on your PC, you mark their sessions as guest sessions and tell them beforehand.
8Availability and changes
1. Drivts is in early access. Features may change, disappear or be added. We do our best to keep it running smoothly. We do not promise any particular availability, because Drivts is free right now.
2. Drivts may be briefly unavailable for maintenance. Recording carries on, and the coach answers as soon as the connection is back.
3. Keep the Drivts app up to date. At some point, older versions stop working with the portal.
4. If we decide to discontinue Drivts completely, we will tell you by email at least four weeks in advance. Until then you can download your data.
9Costs
Drivts is free during early access. If Drivts is to cost money later, we will tell you beforehand. You only pay if you expressly agree to a purchase. Without your agreement your account stays as it is, or you delete it.
10Liability
1. We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body and health, and under the German Product Liability Act (Produkthaftungsgesetz).
2. For slight negligence we are only liable if we breach an essential obligation that you are entitled to rely on. In that case we are only liable for the typical, foreseeable damage.
3. Because Drivts is free, we are otherwise only liable for intent and gross negligence (by analogy with §§ 521 and 599 of the German Civil Code, BGB).
4. Back up important data yourself, for example with the export. For data you could have backed up yourself, we are only liable within the limits of paragraph 1.
11End of use
1. You can stop at any time: delete your account in the settings, and that’s it. There is no notice period.
2. We can end the contract with four weeks’ notice. If you seriously breach these terms, we can also end it immediately.
3. After the end, we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
12Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we send you the new version by email at least four weeks in advance. The new version only applies once you accept it in the portal. If you do not accept it, the old version keeps applying until one of us ends the contract.
13Final provisions
1. German law applies. You keep the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
2. We do not take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board and are not obliged to do so.
3. If a provision is invalid, the rest remains valid.
4. The German version is binding. The English version is a translation.
